I read on this site, that this part number 7A2604AV,is for the 990/950 brake lining. I see that 7A2603A is the original part number in the parts book so I am not believing that the the 7A2604AV is the correct number. Can someone verify?

In my parts book, 7A 2603A is the brake disc. 7A2604A is the lining.

Your 7A 2603 number is the disk with lining. 7A2604 would be the linings, No doubt without looking it up they used to comes in a box with enough linings (Cool do do one tractor and the part number would be some form of 7AS 2604 which also included the rivets. Clear as mud? J.

They have what they call the heritage line of parts and they add a v to the end of the part number. Sometimes they're even cheaper than the normal part number.

The splined center brake disc assemblies are not available from Agco any longer. They supersede the part number 7AS2603A to a qty. of two, 7A2604AV linings and a qty. of 18, 7A2605 rivets and you would have to reuse the center, splined part of your old disc. This would repair one brake disc. Thus, for one tractor, it would take 8 linings and 72 rivets as each tractor has four discs. (Two per side.)
