massey ferguson 90.. went to look at one this morning tractor is in decent shape this 1 is a gas tractor I thought the 90s series were all diesel the hyd. seem a little slow when raseing the loader and the dump cyl wont tip the bucket at full height is this common I don't know squat about these masseys |

The gas engine is a Continental 242. The diesel engine is a Perkins 302. |

I believe the gas 242 is a continentel are parts that hard to find or just expensive to buy |

We had two super 90 dsl tractors when I was young. Were decent tractor I thought at the time. Towards the end they both had over 8,000 hrs on them and it seemed like every spring and fall we were putting head gaskets in them. A neighbor down the road had the same problem, his did it so much the head got too thin to machine! Also if I remember the brakes weren't the strongest. |
