Found this listed as a NAA on CL for $1500 obo.
Called the guy, made an appointment to see it after work.
He sold it before I got out of work.

If it was a 5 speed tranny (which it looks like), then I'm pretty sure it wasn't a NAA. I *think* you have to get into the 800 series to get the 5 speed. |

By the fender support it looks like a 1955 850. 1955 models used the flat steel loop across the top. |

It"s either a 650, 660, 850 or 860. It does have the early X00 rear fenders but it has the late "55 and on upturned running boards. It has the X00 hood with the embossed Ford script. It has an aftermarket replacement manifold. The air tube exits the air filter at an angle instead of straight down so it"s not an 801 series. A photo of the rear end would confirm 600 or 800 series. And of course it could be a mutt with lots of interchanged parts. |

Sorry, 851 should be 850.

LOL neither will I Hobo, never even got to see it.
They guy was decent enough to call me and tell me he had sold it so I didn't waste a trip.
I actually think it was a 650, but who knows.
Every once in a while there's a good deal out there.
Once in a blue moon I actually get them! |
