just bought a d-14 and they have a ca motor in it and the starter wont work (wont go in all the way), what flywheel should it have? obviously they put the wrong fly wheel in it but they cant tell me what one the used. any advise as to what to do?

May not be the flywheel. Some starters don't swap between engines cuz the nose cone needs to be changed. |

The starter and flywheel would have to be from the D 14. That is if that is your problem. The D 14 flywheel is a larger diameter than the CA flywheel. |

Also was two differant D-14 ring gear tooth counts. I think the ring gear change came at same time as 6V to 12V change?? |
