Well. . . the latest and greatest penetrating oil is supposedly a 50/50 mix of Acetone and ATF.
I have not tried it. but you get to pull the plugs and fill it up. Let it soak at least a day and then with the plugs out try to rotate the engine by hand.

Oh yeah, if unable to turn by hand, drop it in 4th gear and give it a slow pull. Leave the plugs out.

Be careful if you try to tow it, you may bend all sorts of things inside! Instead, take off the starter and use a small pry bar in the starter teeth to rotate the flywheel. Try back and forwards movements until you get a full rotation.

Whatever you do, do not be tempted to tow it or you will damage something.Try turning the Flywheel as has been mentioned and if that doesn't work, remove the oil Pan and the Bearing Caps to find out which cylinder is giving problems.....John(UK)...fergusontractors@hotmail.com

I have heard of people pouring 2 or 3 gallons of boiling water into the block to make it expand a little. It makes sense but I haven"t tried it so I can"t say...but I have used the transmission fluid and acetone mix successfully.
