I have what I think is a Model 990 square bale loader that you hook to the side of a trailer to pick up small square bales of hay. My chain came apart and I now I can't even figure out where the chain threads around the bottom around the drive sprocket. Went to John Deere for a diagram and found out all of those diagrams have been deleted from their system. |

To my knowledge the chain routing was never in the parts catalog #1376 that can still be viewed at JDparts.com. What you desire may be in the operators manual that appears to be available.Operator's Manual OMGA10292 John Deere 990 Bale Loader |

I will try and remember to take some pictures tomorrow. We have had a couple of them and the one we have left is in semi retirement since we got the bale wagon. We have moved a lot of bales with one of those things.
Thanks
