Nice Pictures! How did you run the reel on the JD head? It looks like it use to be a hydraulic reel? |

Manuel drive off the auger drive sprocket. In a hurry to get going this year, but may add a pump to drive reel. Worked good this way though. Had a 100 series JD and Love bar 22 1/2 foot. Ran that reel for many years with a belt.
This 220 came for sale and we bought it. 20 foot only. |

Is that feeder house off of a JD 105? Are you planning on trying to hook up the dial-o-matic for automatic header control? I've thought about this before using parts from a massey. |

Yes the feeder house is off a 105 JD. They have to be modified some to fit the 1660 - 65. Wasn't going to use the dialamatic, just a variable flow control like the one my son's 446 Lawn & Garden tractor has for speed control for blowing snow. |
