i may have ask this before but cant remember.
can i wire the headlights to the switch post ? the post that has juice
after key is turned on. i took it off there i think, but, again, can not remember....yep, memory issues here  will take picture next time i start
taking wires off.

i'm not real sure what I just read there.
however.. i'll say this.
pickup power for the headlamp switch from the same feeder spot you are getting it for the ignition switch.
do not run if off the switched side of the ignition, nor off the incoming contact of the ignition switch.. but rather back at the point the ignition switch also gets it's power from.

apologies for the less than clear question
so connect the headlight power wire before the ignition switch
which, if i'm correct, will be on the resistor ?
my 2n is 12v
