|
|
Picked up a 65 with an ugly external coolant heater system
piped off an access port on lower left of block,. I would think
that port was a block drain?? I see a block heater, new, on
eBay but it says for 3/4 inch pipe plug. Freeze plugs are 1-1/4
inch. Anyone had experience with these??? |

Hi, You can use that by getting an adapter. If MF
still carries it, p/n 677 309 or 191 184m1 or
maybe an auto parts. It has internal 3/4 threads
and an outside shell of 1-1/4(no threads), but fits in hole like a soft plug. This used to be a
common part way back. Chuck |
