The gear box for the beaters gave up yesterday, after 30+ years. No luck yet finding a replacement at All States Ag Parts (Downing) or Worthington Ag Parts. Do any of you know of a parts yard with chopper boxes, or maybe you (or a neighbor) has a Forage King sitting in the weeds that might have a good gear box? Thanks.

Try Schmitt Imp. in Holy Cross, Iowa. They handled Forage King boxes. They still had some parts a few years ago. PH 563-552-1005

Thanks for the info. Yesterday afternoon, my other Forage King almost became a parts box... but it looks like I can fix it - not as much damage as I expected. I'll post pics later.
