Today while trying to round bale the PTO stopped turning when the bale got to about 3 ft. Could this only be cause by an internal hose leak. Thanks |

Check your filter and sump screen first, if they are restricted it can cause low to no transmission pressure,,if that"s all okay then it could be a cracked oil line, or a failing transmission pump,,or a component leak ,,lets hope for a plugged filter... |

I agree with Tim S in always check the easiest things first such s hyd filter and sump screen. |

When was the last time the filter and screen were serviced?
Is there a loader or any other hydraulic loads connected to the tractor?
Has the slippage occurred suddenly or gradually?
Any difference with transmission rabbit-turtle lever in either high or low speed. |
