just got off the phone with Bro, he is still having a bad streak with his putor, said it "Black Screened" him today and does not want to turn on,,, maybe we should all throw in a few $$$ to send him so he can stay "On Line" LOL he just wanted me to advise of his condition so as no one would worry cnt tom

CNT, if you talk to Loren tell him to find someone (son, daughter,Aunt,Uncle) with a working puter and look at the Dell outlet site. I have bought 2 laptops, several monitors and other stuff off it at very good prices. These are new conputers with a glitch that come back for direct replacement and are gone through 100% and completely fixed and tested. The production models are only spot checked (all mfgs do it). Doesn't hurt too look and he may find one that fits his pocket book.

Sounds like it may be the mother board that's the problem. A guy at work just had the same problem.
