I have a problem with the AC switch, one speed, should be three. I tried to take the panel off in the cab to look for a problem with a wire loose or something like that. The six screws come out fine and the panel is loose, but the radio will not let it come off far enough to see behind the panel. Anyone know how to get this off or get the radio out of the way? |

Depending on the serial number of the tractor, you either need to replace the fan speed switch or a resistor (used on later serial number tractors). I believe the switch and resistor are one unit on the earlier serial numbers. Fairly simple, but not real common problem. I work for a MF dealer. |

Thanks for coming on. The tractor has a UK ss# 35944 & K34040 for the US ss number. The ROPS Type is 5001.
I need to know how to get to the switch. The radio would not let the panel down far enough to get to the back of the panel where I need to be.
