I've got this part in the picture that I dont'know where it goes. I believe it has something to do with the injection system being that I had to remove it to get the block bored on my 820. I've go the service manual and the parts book, but I'm still unclear as to where it goes. Any help is appreicated. Thanks.

Toby, This is the spring retainer/bushing that goes on the right hand end of injector pump control rail. A spring shoulders on it that is trapped between it and a plug that threads into the right hand side of block. Hope you can follow my discription. DW |

Yep,
What WTW said.
It's item 43 on page 35-8 in your parts manual. The bore in the piece goes over the end of the rack control rod so the turned down part faces the generator side of the block. The spring goes over that turned down shoulder. |
