i need to order parts for my allis chalmer,but im not sure what year it is and the model,the number on the tractor is C14873,can you tell me anything about it? my name is eddie jewell 1360 hourglass rd hartly de 19953.thanks in advance

The last model C sn was 84030...1950..the sn is found by the gear shift.....starts with C...recheck there for your sn.

Sorry about that- I think I misread your number, adding an extra number in front----14873 would be a 1942 model.

thanks for your help on the tractor ,i went and checked the serial number again,it was C14873 so when i order parts for it from you guys ,i just say its a C model allis chalmer,is this the correct way to order? and its a 1942 model right? im going to take it back to orginal way it was when it was new,so if this is the right way,i will be calling for parts sometime next week.thanks very much for your help.eddie jewell

Yup, just tell them it's a 42 C. Some might want the serial number so have that handy when you order too.
