I bought an electric fuel pump for a lawnmower. It worked about an hour and quit. I am selling it on ebay, however I don't think anyone will want it. Below is link to the listing so you can read it and decide if you want one like it from that seller.

A similar Facet fuel pump will set you back at least 50 bucks. That Herko cost you $15.

Pardon my ignorance, but what difference does it make if it's on a lawn mower or some other application? |

Have you checked your voltage coming to to the pump checked for a blown fuse. What kind of mower are you using it on. |

All depends on voltage and fuel pressure output. On most small engines. Anything over 4 PSI will open the needle valve and cause flooding. |

Yes I checked all that before saying pump was bad. I bought another pump and it works good---so far. It is on a Kohler M20 on a snapper zero turn. |

Do not tie pump wiring into ignition coil. If ign ition has a ballast resistor in use, pump will be starving for current. Also probably not work at all or correctly. How do I know. Experience long time ago with Renault Dauphine car. Found out after rebuilding motor. This faulty hook up was the only problem. Never made that mistake again after 1966. Dave |
