how do i operate the 3 point hitch on the tractor to raise it up and down, alo it has a front loader on it how do i lift and lowert this

there were two different 4000s. Although the features you mention may operate similarly on both 4000s, it would be good if we knew if it was the early 4 cylinder or the later 3 cylinder model. We also need to know whether the loader hydraulics operate off the tractor hydraulics or are self contained.

a pic of the hyd top cover and right side of the center section under the top cover may help as well. as that info lary asked for
