morning
I'm rebuilding 8n early type steering box, manual says oil in box. Someone had put a Zerk in the fill plug on mine and used grease.
Any wisdom appreciated. |

Grease does not leak out like oil. I got grease in one and oil in the other. If i ever need to take apart the one with oil, I will change it over to grease and never worry about leaking again. |

fill with a 0 or 00 ep grease.
ford put out a service bulleting in 62 the supercedes the 50's era n manual... |

to fill the steering gear box with 0ep grease to prevent sectpor seal leaks.
