rd 450 flywheel for a 560

im currently installing a rd 450 in a 560 and would like to know what others are doing with the flywheel .I dont need a $2500 slipper clutch due to 15.5x38 tires and 5000 and 6000lb weight class's. I am thinking of machining the hub off of the back of the stock deisel flywheel and redrilling it for the rd bolt pattern then making a spacer to go between the flywheel and crank .Am I on the right track or am i building a bomb that will cut the tractor in half the first time I turn it up to 4000 rpm.

If you are going to turn it loose at 4 grand, you better make for sure you have a real good clutch, SFI approved flywheel, and a blanket.

does anyone know of somebody that makes steel flywheels for single disk clutch. I know custom tractor parts makes dual disk set ups but I would like to go with a single if I could. Thanks Lee
