Does anyone have a website they use for the Peerless tranny parts for a later model John Deere tranny. Dealer wants $850 for the trans. Thanks.

Is it a hydrostatic transmission?

Someone posted a link to an inexpensive seal replacement for the newerish hydrostatic transmissions. I was looking for it but couldn't find it in the posts.

I will try searching the forum again tomorrow. It was a very good link to a parts supplier and described step by step what the guy did. Inexpensive last ditch effort to repair the hydro trans.

I thought I saved the link but can't find it.

Thanks, It's my brothers mower. Apparently it's a cheaply built tranny.
