|
|
I need to replace the plunger. In the shop manual the plunger guide is made up of what looks like 4 pieces, the draft control spring plate and the hydraulic spring seat, which I have. I need to get a "seat, hydraulic lift draft control spring" (this is how it is listed with discount tractor parts) which was missing, and what look in the picture like a washer. Is this the "felt, spring seat" listed with the parts company? I want to make sure I get everything I need at once.
Also, I imagine it would be very difficult to reattach the control fork to the pump control valve if the sump is not emptied, correct?
Thanks |

Probably possible. Noty easy in any case. I stradle the tractor and put one arm in each inspection port to do it. Hobo made a special tool to do it. |

You might check with Jim.UT or John Smith for the seat you're missing.
There is a felt washer in there, I think they're about $5 new.
You can get them from this site or others. Used felt would most likely be worn out. |
