A few years back I purchased a 1961 641. The wireing was a mess. I bought a 12 volt conversion kit with a one wire alternator. I also replaced the coil with a 12 volt one. I left the old two wire key switch and starter button in place and went with the wireing diagram that came with the kit. There seems to be alot of confusion as to what seleniod to use. Before I put it back together could someone advise me as to what seleniod will work for my tractor. A Napa number would be great. Thanks! |

ST-542 for 12v.
If can't find 542, then the ST-541 (6v) will work just fine on 12v. |
