Is there a trick to removing the clutch driver from a 70? I"ve heated and beat and heated I also have bolts in the threaded holes with constant pressure on it. Thanks

JDMan...what has worked for me is to use a lot of penetrating oil, tighten the 1/2 inch bolts in the threaded holes just to the point where they start to distort the cluth driver plate, put the large bolt back into the end of the crankshaft w/o the washers and tighten it snug and then use a 4 pound hammer to rap the head of the bolt.

That"s pretty much what I"ve been doing except I used a torch instead of penetrating oil and a 6lb maul instead of 4 lb sledge

JDman... Did you run the 1/2 inch bolts into the clutch driver with an impact wrench? Need to be careful not to overdo it as you can break the plate portion of the driver.
