Went to check out some tractors this weekend and there was a 430 Case that had been converted into a forklift (factory looking). It was mostly complete, assumed stuck. Does anyone know a possible value of this thing? Sorry I don"t have any pics of it. |

I cannot help you with the value, but should you buy it I likely have a parts manual for it. I bought a lot of literature and such from a dealer that was going out of business a number of years ago. He had made a small fortune selling such forklifts. At that time Canada had a substantial duty on industrial machines but not agricultural machines, so he imported ag 430s and then converted them to forklifts, thos avoiding the duty on eveything but the attachment. he was located in the Holland Marsh, 50 miles north of Toronto, which is a mjor vegetable and truck farming area so there was a big demand for these machines. |

I saw one at auction 2 years ago, it was running but looked a little rough. It sold for $1500.
Good luck. |
