Got a 310 dozer gas. Not getting fuel to the carb. Got gas to the fuel pump, but it isn't pushing it to carb. New fuel pump, repair? Suggestions?..I don't think it's electric. Need to push dirt. |

Have you disconnected the line to the carb? Reason I ask is that a stuck needle won't allow the fuel to get into the carb even if the pump is pushing it up to it. That said if you have fuel to the pump and none going through it it sounds like the pump needs to be replaced or rebuild, but if it is pumping but the fuel isn't getting into the carb then you need to be looking at giving the carb a little TLC instead. One other thing to look for is some fuel transfer pumps have a filter screen built in. Not sure wether the one your's would have one or not, but if the cover on the pump diaphram housing is removable then it's worth a shot to take it off an check. I have seen that filter get clogged and cause the same problem.
Hope this helps and good luck. |
