The Sherman traction clutch was not common but not rare either.
What is rare today is finding one that still works.
Replacement parts are made of unobtanium.

Dean,
Been thinking of getting a 600-800 with live pto, are those parts made from unobtanium also?
When was unobtanium discovered? I like that term:)

The only 600/800 series models with Live PTO are the 660 and 860. The parts for their double clutches are still obtainable, although a bit pricier than the non-live single clutch variety. |

The live PTO 66* and 86* tractors use an OEM double clutch rather than the Sherman traction disconnect clutch, which is behind the transmission.
Clutch parts are readily available for the 55 and later live PTO tractors, albeit a bit expensive.
