You can tear anything up if you try. I use a rack and pinion from a pinto. Probably hard to find now. I don"t try to steer it if I am sitting still. I also just use 1/2 tool u-joints. Came in a 3 pack from Wally World. |

The top one will work for a light weight tractor like a WC I am currently using one of them. The bottom one is heavier built and larger in size. Both are well built racks. |

I like that idea for the 1/2" drive universals, checked Harbor Freight they have 'impact' universals for $7. I am putting a widefront wishbone off of a B on my WC. |
