|
|
I looked at a metal cab that appears to have been on a NAA/800 or 900 series tractor. The current owner bought the cab at an auction and is not sure of the origin of the cab. I think this is an aftermarket cab but I am not sure. I could not find a tag on the cab only the reddish coloration of the word Ford near the top of the cab. The cab has two sliding doors and flat glass on all 4 sides. Does anyone have any info on cabs that were used with the above mentioned model tractors? |

The only cabs I've seen for the Hundred Series were those that came on Airport tractors.
But likely there were others.
This one shows up at the local show most every year. Always for sale but the price must be a bit high as it's always there again the next year.
Here's another one that my friend Kenny had for a couple of years.

You can be confident that it was an after market cab. Integral cabs with very few exceptions didn't come along until the mid to late seventies. I have never seen a 900 with a cab even in a picture. I'm sure that back in the day that many were equipped with heat housers. |
