Will the rearend of a 77 work on an 88. Or can any of the gears inside be used. My 88 is making lots of noise in reverse. Thanks |

I wouldn't recommend it. An 88 tub will physically bolt on, but I don't think alot of the gears are interchangeable. Also the axles and final drives are much smaller on a 77. Shouldnt be too hard to find an 88 parts tractor. |

Just look at the hump in the platform where your feet are and notice how much higher the hump is for the 88 bull gears as compared to the 77's. |

all of the gears in the trans will swap including the input shaft. ring and pinion, bull gears, ect are diffrent. |
