Who makes the front hitch for an H or M. I have a homemade one I am borowing. Makes backing a hayrack in the barn a whole lot easier. Is anyone making them? I am talking about a triangular plate with 2 3/4 inch holes that has 2 bolts through it.

Just make your own.pretty easy.If if you dont have the skills or equipment, find someone to make one for you.1/2" plate steel would work, but I would probably use 3/4"....Good luck, Steve

The front end hitchs are nice to use. My dad built one for our M in the mid 60's. He cut two pieces of 3/4" plate steel and bolted them to frame. For a cross piece between the two side plates he welded a heavy piece of 4" angle iron with a piece welded in the middle of angle iron with hole to match our drawbar pins. I sold the M a few years ago but took the hitch and put it on my 450.

If I recall correctly, the hole spacing width is slightly different between the H and M.

I think it is the same as the hitch on the corn pickers.

It's just a piece of steel with three holes in it.

Never had good luck with them, though. Works fine backing straight up but as soon as you turn a little bit the wagon just takes the front of the tractor and shoves it sideways.

I have one on the 1942 H my grandpa bought new. He was something of a blacksmith and welded steel in his forge. He made this one out of a piece of 3/8 scrap as it has an extra hole on one side and the hole for the drawbar isn't exactly centered. The shape is a bit crude too. It's just one more memory of grandpa for me and it's staying on after I finish restoring the tractor. Never know, I might need to back something up with it!

My neighbor bought an M with a big fancy hitch. It used channel from the frame rails and a drop down so you could push harder. They used it to push vegetable wagons in to the cleaner/processer thing.
