this year I made it out to the local fair for the tractor pulls. I was not eligible for any class because I had added a turbo (not stock so not allowed in farm stock class). On the other hand I didn't have the safety gear for super stock like the bell housing blanket and safety shut off. However, they did let me pull for fun in the 5700# super stock which the video attached is my pull. She weighed 5690, did 132ft and was boosting between 10-15 psi.
At about 100 ft the boost from the turbo was actually overcoming the fuel pump and that is why she putters out. But just was she seems to stall the boost drops and the pump can catch up which is why she comes back to life a little. Next year I will not have this problem!!!
hope you enjoy the video!!

Hi 1949H:. Boy... I wished out 1945 H would've had your setup.. Our H just could not pull much more then itself.. and I was not allowed to "tinker" with and Hot-Rod methods. Those rear tires look great and were diging in.. Looked like you were enjoying the chance to pull.. better luck next year.. Thanks for Video.. |
