Can anyone help me out? I was thinking about swapping a 400 or 450 motor into my M for extra cubes with plans on a bigger build down the road. Will they bolt right in? Like most of you, i have hopes of "the big motor" at some point. Was justwondwring if this was a possible start... thanks for the help |

The only difference is the breather hole in the back of the head. A C-281 head will not have it. |

One other thing. The bolt pattern for your distributor drive on the front cover may be different. The late Ms and Super Ms had the same pattern as the 400 & 450. You can also use the front cover off your M. I am uncertain why they changed it except it may have had something to do with the live pump. |
