I am looking to put wheat in this fall yet. Figuring on planting it within the next week or so. The field is ready and I know it will need some spring fertility put on. Also will need herbicide. What else will it need spraying for and what problems do I need to look for? I know armyworms but what else?

Where I am located, do a pre-plant burndown with roundup. Then in spring most of the time Harmony Extra, and some guys do the Kocide at that time. After that any problems you have are when it's good to have a guy scouting your fields. It's hard for the average guy to pick up on some of the tiny insects or fungus, or whatever you might have.
