|
|
Hello all, I am just in the process of bringing home my first tractor...a Massey Harris 44 Row-Crop (not sure on year...the serial number plate is gone). This being my first, I didn't know how hard it was going to be to get a 3 point hitch or Hitch-All.
Now I'm concerned that maybe this wasn't the smartest purchase I've ever made, since I was hoping to use this tractor to drive a 3 point post-pounder (which is not purchased yet, thankfully).
Am I out of luck? I've searched for hours trying to find out if there is an after-market hitch for this, without success. |

3 points are hard to find for the 44's. I do not know of an aftermarket. There are used ones on EBAY sometimes. I think that is the best solution, but get ready to pay 500-700 for it. Make sure you get the whole thing with the cylinder, arms and drawbar. |

Thanks, but it would cost me thousands to get a tractor from Iowa to northern Canada |

I looked at that, it seems complete with cylinder and would buy that if you want one. It will cost you that much to build one. |

I may have to do that, since they won't ship to Canada (a pretty common thing). |

When I put the diesel in it, removed it because I can only run 1 hydraulic pump now.I really didn't need it(I have enough 3 point hitch tractors already) . I'll have to make a drawing of the superstructure for you. |

Do you have any pics? I wonder how much it would cost to ship here in Canada. I'm still trying to get the tractor moved 131kms to my house. Any guesses as to the weight? |
