I have a farmhand f19 on my M that came off of a 450. I didnt modify anything to fit it, bolted right on. Hopefully your M has live hydraulics mine does not.

The only difference from a loader mounting standpoint is, the 400 is a few inches longer.
If it's a loader that just bolts to the frame rails, it will just bolt on in the exact same place.
If it's a loader that also attaches to the rear axle housings, you may need to use different bolt holes on the tractor frame.
