I have that same phd but it is missing the control handle and my paint isn't as nice. Has a 12" auger.
I paid $175 for it.

You can get them cheaper, but they are not going to look pretty!
Working units go around here for $300-$500.

Bought a new digger like yours except for a 9 inch auger for 135 dollars. Of course that was in 1965. That thing has dug a zillion holes for me and several of my neighbors. Have replaced the bits on the bottom of the auger a few times,have even built up a few with the welder. A great piece of equipment when needed. Joe

i have the same one, also no handle. one heavy duty sum a gun. never saw a heavier one. 750 - no, 500 maybe.
