The JD parts catalog page 20-8 shows F1395R key 16, bearing washer, facing so that the bent in part hits the inner race of the bearing. The bent in part is 1/8 inch looking at the JD parts breakdown online. I Probably shouldn't question the parts Bible (catalog) but if the bearing washer was turned around, it would clear just fine, hold more grease for the bearing, and show a profile to the bearing as the Bearing Retainer, key 13, F1394R does. Any thoughts on which way the bearing washer should go?

Thanks for the speedy reply. It makes sense to put it in the way you did. |
