800 caseomatic eagle hitch

59 caseomatic eagle hitch. how do i ck oil in rockshaft and or add oil? there is no petcock on the block,but there is an allen plug under manifold will that drain block? thanks for all the help.

I have been around Case tractors since childhood. I might be a bit dense sometimes, but I have no idea what you are refering to. The 800 has a external 3pt lift cylinder and no rockshaft housing, just a cast block that supports the 3pt rockshaft that has greese jerks that lube it. You got pics. of what you are refering to?

Hydraulic oil level is checked on lower right side of the hydraulic housing. It is a 1/8 inch pipe plug. Engine coolant is drained through a 1/4 inch pipe plug in the bottom of the oil filter housing.

i am sorry if i stated rockshaft wrong. on the last page of the c 201 case shop manual fig c718 it says install 1 pint of sae 90 transmission oil in the rockshaft housing. i could not find grease fittings or a plug. sorry about the screw up .

there is a petcock on the side of the oil filter mounting plate/assembly that will drain the block.
