My 730 sometimes does not have any gears when switching from on side to other in trans. If you keep messing with it it will work again.

Repair it, before you get it in TWO gears at once and tear the transmission up Good...
Don't use it, until you repair it..

My 520 does that going from the low side to the high side. I just go back, shift into reverse, then try going back to the other side letting the pulley turn a little as it crosses over. Seems to work OK. Someday I'll pull the cover off the transmission. I think the shifter is worn bad in mine rather than other parts.
