Having surgery Monday for removal of a tumor in my kidney. 3-5 hr.on the table and 5-7 days recovery in the hospital. Getting stuff done around the place before I go in since I won"t be allowed to lift for a few weeks. Got most of the lawn furniture put away, leaves cleaned up and my tractor (see pic. tractor related) put away for now.Changed oil in the vehicles and checked out the furnace. So hopefully all my honey - do list is caught up.
This is my fourth surgery in a year. Good Lord willing, I"ll be o.k. and heal up before winter sets in.I did get the grandson a ride this week,..he steers pretty good for a 5yr. old.

Prayers sent.
Beautiful tractor. Did you restore it yourself?
You might consider eating a couple of handfuls of walnuts daily. They are very high in anti-oxidants and help prevent cell deterioration which can cause tumors, etc. |

Thanks Nancy, I wish walnuts could help but I have a genetic disorder that causes tumors,.(benign). The disorder is Multipul Endocrin Neoplasa 1 (MEN1) Effects the pancrease, pituatary, and parathyroids of which I have had surgery on each of them. It also forms tumors elswhere in the body like my kidney.
No cure, just preventive surgery to keep things at bay. |
