Recently had trouble with my N took my coil off to get to the point"s and noticed a crack in the coil. I put a new set of point"s in and installed a new coil. It ran but not very well after reseting the point"s several times thinking that was the problem I found out the new coil was bad, I bought another coil and it was bad I put my original coil back on that had a crack in it and it ran perfect. If your having a problem don"t just bench test your coil put it on another tractor and make sure it will run. Both NEW coil"s bench tested fine but were not capable of sustaining power consititly to make my tractor run anywhere right.
