Came across a Brady pull behind brush mower?
driven by the PTO and attached to a draw bar. Came off a Allis Chalmers. Tires look good and belts are ok. I am wondering what it is and if it will fit other tractors. They say they used it once the parked it. Like to know if any one knows about it.
Thanks
Todd

Looks like a Brady stalk chopper to me. If it hooks to the drawbar you can use it behind any tractor. |

From what I can see it looks like my 5' corn stalk chopper. Hasn't been used for several years since I quit farming and I do not have a big enough tractor anymore to use it for chopping weeds in the lane and barnyard. The Ford 2N at 23 HP just would not be enough for that. If corn stalks were frosted and dead then could pull it with the 28 HP Deere but if they were still green needed the 38HP Deere on it. |
