Almost impossible to find a front blade down south, so built my own! Too much for the 100, do you think? |

Not sure if it is too much or not, but it does look like some good engineering! |

Nice blade you built! Best test is to find you a big pile of dirt. |

Thanks guys! It actually works really well. The hydraulics have "down pressure" so you can make it dig in as much or as little as you like. |

Might consider adding a replaceable cutting edge at some point but other than that... Like it. |

Blade looks good, I cannot tell fromn the pics, did you break a piece of metal or weld pieces together? |

Looks okay, but I would suggest that if you ever build another one to make more curvature to the blade and this would give more "shear" angle where the blade contacts the ground. Your blade is pretty "abrupt" at the lower edge IMHO. |

I had a local company that produces large diameter pipe to bend the 1/4" plate in a sheet metal brake. |

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually built this one using the radius from an old piece of a IH Cub front blade. Its main purpose is to push brush piles but I have used one I built previously that was very similar and it cuts into the dirt quite well. |

Yeah, you are probably right but I can turn this blade over if I ever use it enough to wear one side out. I built it so it is reversible and I can angle one side out to turn the dirt. |
