Yesterday I saw regular at 4.71. Probably more today. Premium is over 5.00 in some stations. What the heck is going on. Maybe living Calif has something to do with it? glad I am done with my mowing, and discing for this year. Stan

4.80 here. Sad to see prices that close to Canadian prices, though it is likely Canadian gas. Obama gave the country what he promised.

$3.80 when I filled up yesterday. Was $3.60. Must have figured the demand was down so they had to make up for lost $$$. It has fluctuated up and down 30 and 40 cents in a weeks time all summer and so far this fall. Might as well charge what they want while they can. Someday we won't be dependent on this stuff.....right?

A fire at the Chevron refinery in Richmond and a electric problem at the MobilExxon Refinery in Torrence has cut deep into California gasoline production. Also the economies are booming in the San Diego and San Francisco Bay areas increasing demand dramatically. Add to this supply problems due to switching from summer to winter spec gasoline causes kinda a perfect storm of high prices.

Filled up at Sam's Club on Saturday for $3.57. Snowbirds will flock here this winter thinking that they'll have cheap gas all winter.

We'll be switching to winter blend soon and price will go up 15 - 30 cents/gallon - and mileage will go down with winter blend.

$1.22 per litre or $4.88 per gallon. It is not that gas is high, it is just that money has NO value, compared to what it once did. $1.00 now is worth only what $0.10 was worth say 30-35 years ago. Bruce
