Well, here it is. It was a piece of cake to make, very simple. I know My Father, rip, who was a career blacksmith, is looking down on me, and smiling. I saw and observed him make a many a one of these eyes. Mostly branding iron handles and wagon side board squeeze rods.

I want to thank Anthony again for those measurements.

I had a 10 foot piece of 3/8" rod to begin with and enough left over to make a new throttle rod. The old rod didn't quite fit the new M & W throttle handle that I just got. Looks like IH made their's using tubing with with a piece of 5/16" rod driven in at each end. Didn't have that particular size of tubing, so I used the leftover 3/8' rod and butted and brazed in a piece of 5/16' round rod at each end, and went from there. If you look closely you can see the splice and transition, and faintly see the brass. Oh well, the old rod was a little rough looking and all tattered anyway.

So many more of these little projects to do yet. But they all count no matter how insignificant they may seem.
