Bought a box of Colt 45s (longer than reg 45s) by accident. Can't return them, can't use them. Paid $32.00. Anyone interested at $30.00?

These won"t fit a Colt 45 auto. I think they"re for a 45 revolver.

Keep them and buy yourself a .45 Colt derringer to carry in your purse/pocket. Less recoil than a .45 auto.

If they are for the Colt revolver it will say 45 long Colt on the box if not no telling what they fit.

Box says Colt 45. They are too long for a 45 auto.

nanc, i agree with the other guys, sounds like a long colt. i used to have a ruger vaquero 45 long colt single action western style 6 shooter. real nice gun , fun to shoot, but the long colts are a little spendy. they are a popular load from what i hear for the western style target shoots where the pistol and rifle must shoot the same round.

I would be, but I don't see a reasonable way to get them up to the northwoods. I'm assuming they're .45 long Colt, I have a revolver and a lever gun in that caliber.

That 45 colt was around long before the 45acp. Some people are hung up on "long colt" to avoid confusion.

It 45 colt as Nancy has on the box and I assume she needs the 45acp(1911 type pistol rather than a revolver).

They can be shipped. Google the regulations on shipping ammunition via the UPS. Can't be over a certain weight and has to have ORMD on the box and I think say "small arms munitions" or something of the like.

Nancy, I will take them if you can get them to me. I have a Judge that enjoys them. If you or James are going to be traveling east anytime soon I would even meet up with you.
