I'm looking for a temperature sending unit for my 550 oliver. I bought one that is 3/4" diameter
and I need one that is 15/16" in diameter. Does anybody know where I can find this? Any suggestion as to how to fix this problem.

there are adapters you can get at most any auto parts stores

Just take it with you to an auto parts store. I needed an oil pressure sending unit for a 1020 Deere a while back and one from a 70s Oldsmobile ended up being the same.

Had the same problem with a unit from Korves and a young man at Orschelns fixed me up with an adaptor to make it work, not a big deal.
