Removed engine today on HC 40 I"m rebuilding and it had a different pressure plate. It has a ring for throw out bearing to run on (#1 picture). Is this an up grade from old type pressure plate or just another brand, and which one is best to use? Just not familiar with this type.

looks to me like that is a spacer so the later type bearing will work.
On our FE 35s the early bearing had a 'nose' on it so it would reach the fingers, this bearing is no longer available over here and a spacer is needed so the plain modern bearing will work.
Maybe someone on your side of the pond knows something else about it?

The Clutches are basically the same, it is the settings of the Clutches that are different...John(UK)...fergusontractors@hotmai.com |
