I have a New Idea loader for an Oliver 77, if anyone is interested. It is a trip bucket and has two large hydraulic cylinders, hoses and quick couplers. On top of the transmission is a block with the hydraulic controls that could go with it if someone has a replacement cover plate for it in trade. It also has good hoses and quick couplers so you can easily detach the loader. The brackets fit an Oliver 77, and possibly others.
We ae going to scrap this loader, unless someone wants it, but it needs to go soon. We are short on space and need to clear some things out. The loader is in New Lexington, Ohio, near Zanesville. As long as we get scrap price for it, I would rather let it go to someone who might use it.
Thanks |

Hi John
I saw the Oliver on Craigslist, but you got there before I did. Was it really a Super? I think the seller was confused because it had super decals.

Rich,
No it is a 51. If you drop the first number on the serial, it makes it a 57 super like it was listed, so maybe that and the super decals confused him.
I bought it for our FFA alumni. I teach Ag and one of my classes is going to work on getting it right and painting it. We will sell raffle tickets and give the tractor away during our FFA banquet in the spring.
We took the loader off so that the kids could take it to a few local pulls to advertise a little and give them a chance to pull a tractor. I hope it will be a good way to continue our hobby and fun for the kids. Other than a little sheet metal work, a starting issue and 12" of grease and dirt, this is a really nice tractor.
We have a tug pull on the 20th at the Perry County Fairgrounds and one the 27th at Morgan Co Fairgrounds. For sure it will be at perry co.
