They used that clip starting in 39 it was for installing the mag. Your dist has a base that you use for setting the timing on the dist that clip is not even needed for a dist as it will not move enough to time a dist. Its just the way they built them. Dont know it a mag was available for the 100 but mags were available for many yrs. |
